Evelyn’s Swan Cake Smash – First Birthday Milestone Session With Splash Bath – Charlotte, NC
Evelyn turned ONE on September 12th and I could not believe it had been a year since I did her newborn pictures. Evelyn born weighing 4 pounds 14 ounces, after a 7 day stay in NICU, was 16 days new on the day we did her Newborn Session. Her mom asked for pink, purple and whites with some florals for her session and we loved how they turned out. Here are a few from her newborn session look at her perfect little features she was such a beautiful baby.
This is Beautiful Evelyn during her One Year Milestone Session, one is of her holding a picture of her in NICU. She was born unresponsive and after 10 minutes was resuscitated and began breathing. She was immediately taken to NICU and was diagnosed with Mild HIE (Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy). Evelyn made a a full recovery and has surpassed all the doctor’s expectations and has since shown no symptoms of HIE. She is a miracle baby and has forever changed her mommy and daddy’s lives. As you see more pictures from her session you can see she is everything to them!
For Evelyn Mom wanted to incorporate something that was a gift into the Cake Smash. It was a Swan rocking chair and so her theme for her Cake Smash became Swan. Mom went with a full Custom Cake Smash and we did balloons for one part of the session with the Swan rocker.
I loved the theme Mom chose for the Cake Smash and loved the colors. I could not find a backdrop for what we wanted for the session so I came up with a center focal point piece and added to it. With then help from my Dad made a window frame (no glass) for the main piece then added lots of different items to make the background perfect for Mom and My vision for the session. I loved the colors they were perfect. The cake was made by Lil Rebel Bakery and she did a fantastic job with making it perfect for the session. The wings were made of chocolate and Evelyn loved it.
We finished the Cake Smash Session off with a Splash Bath. Evelyn loved the rubber ducky!
